Just a quickie
Sep. 24th, 2004 01:35 pmJust a small update as I've not got much to report. The lovely tru_loo came over last night and cut my fringe, so I can now see! Now I can see that I need to do something with my eyebrows (candi_topping, I'm looking your way).
Am meeting up with morbidstar and dark_delirium and cybertronik tomorrow, plus the 14 yr old. This could be fun. Jelly and ice-cream all round methinks.
PayPal appear to have lost £18 of my money, not impressed. Have e--mailed them to sort it out.
Am wearing my forum t-shirt today, and am very impressed with it.
Also it looks like Cinders will go to the ball (or more accurately, I will go to Witchfest!) the lovely Claire is buying my ticket. She is such a wonderful person, I am very lucky to have her as a friend.
Am getting merrily hooked on Mad Mad House (Thurs Sci Fi), it has the lovely Fiona Horne in it, and is 10 americans put into a house with a vampire, a voodoo priestess, a modern primative, a naturist and a witch (Fiona). It's fab, a little cheesy and wonderful to watch Xian americans having their minds expanded. Although some of them do sit out (my faith is too tenuous to be threatened). I've had a bit of a rant about it on WiccaUK and may end up getting flamed or worse for what I've said. Am unapologetic about it, I feel that there are a great many pagans out there that are forgetting the 'mirth with reverence' idea, and want to keep it all very serious and staid. I love my religion, and I love having fun with my religion, when we take it all too seriously, then we crumble.
Am feeling very witchy today for some reason
