Rant - sorry its work related

Firstly the nice stuff - it's great to have indovan back here again, he makes everything sunny and fun and stuff. Saw dark_delirium yesterday, was lovely to see her and Congrat on the new job lady!

Rant - 2 yrs ago I joined a brand new part of the business, there were 5 of us, 4 girls, 1 guy. And we were slated, we were constantly told that our jobs were not safe, that we had taken the easy option etc.

Anyway, we wanted our bonus to be a bit better (we were getting £1.50 per £1000), but when we asked we were told that if we pushed it our bonus would be dropped to 75p per £1000. Understandably we shut up.

After showing that what we were doing was a valid option, more money, effort and resources were ploughed into it. The person who had been managing us for 8 months was 'managed out' and I have moved on to other things.

TODAY I find out that the nbew team has got such a f**king easy bonus, they are paid on gross, not just new money. AND their bonus is higher. I feel cheated and stiffed, again. Thank gods I'm no longer on the phones. Some things really suck.

I could rant longer, but it really won't make any sense!

We don't have so many leads now hun. We no longer work CS Tuds, (the Marbles team works those)and we only have 3 OS teams per agent, plus the referrals, and for grade 5 we have to get £350,000, so there is a bad side to it hun.

I know yhou work hard, but really you have it so much easier than when the team started out.

No CS Tuds (took us 4 months to get those)
No HOT refs
No OS at all
No PFI/Unknowns

Only TUD refs - that's it.

Target £300,000 (or as close as we could manage). I did £225,000. I challenge anyone to do that JUST using agent refs.

Bonus for doing it - about £500.

That's the bottom line really, without our hard work, you guys would not have a team, Simon would not have a DM-ship, Marc, Frank and Caroline would not be managers.

Do we get any thanks, appreciation etc. No! we got stiffed every step of the way.

i get less that £500 for doing that same amount of acquired hun. the only reason why nupur always acquires 1m or around that figure, is because she does the inbound teams, so it's all easier to convert. the rest of us have all the other crap to deal with, we no longer work cs tuds, only os14, and dave grants os 14s not only have dm notes on, but also have a 21 day hold now, instead of 14. the other teams all have dm notes still, either by si, or marc. and i am the only one who works pfi and unknowns, and nothing else, and they still expect 375k out of me this month, it's a nightmare.

at the end of the day, it's a thankless job hun, and no matter how we compare the old days to the present, you'll never be thanked for your hard work, same as your colleague who left (was pushed out) when si took over (forget her name). you are only as good as your last days work or months acquired. its a sad fact. ive been an a player, now im a b/c player, depending on my leads and the month im having. nupur aint gonna stay there forever, up on a player status! and when she drops down a grade no-one will look at her again, she will be forgotten, like all the great a players who have been there. sad but true hun xxx
