Quickie....ooer!
Jun. 29th, 2004 01:45 pmJust a quick little update today!
Firstly - Yay to Mr Henman for playing a fabulous game of tennis and beating 'The Scud' last night. It's a testament to my own will power that I have any fingernails left at all! That tie breaker AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH
Tennis is one of those odd things. Like most sports, I hate playing it (I'm extremely competative and it does no good at all for my blood pressure), but watching it is completely different. When I was little, I hated Wimbledon cos Mum watched it all the time, and we lost out on cartoons and kids tv. Now Squeak is going through the same thing! was a bloody good match tho.
Secondly - My work colleges are the best! They did a little presentation yesterday for my b'day and gave me a card and £15 worth of Lush vouchers. How fab! I spent those last night on an Arabian Bright (anything to keep the colour in my hair, that's the one bad thing about red, the fade), a Fair Trade Foot creme (goes with my Running to the Embassy - minty gorgeousness), a Floating Island (tres relaxing) amd Figs and Leaves soap (yummy).
I now think that I have more than enough to be going along with! And they're bringing out 4 new bubble bars in July!
Also I have been asked to test pale foundations for Lush's sister company, B Never too Busy to Be Beautiful. Of course I said yes, and am now waiting for everything to be sent to me. How exciting!!!!
That's it for now, see y'all soon!
