Batten down the hatches!
Aug. 10th, 2011 06:43 pmWell, it had to happen eventually I suppose. Just a shame it happened here.
The BBC news finally has remembered that Brum has been having riots for a couple of days. However it's only because we now have the biggest body count currently. 3 lads deliberately hit by a car and killed on Dudley Road yesterday. The police have someone in custody for murder. It's the worst possible outcome.
There are unconfirmed reports that the Birmingham City Zulus are heading into town to 'deal with' the rioters. There are unconfirmed reports of the EDL coming for the fight. Milwall and other firms have been 'patrolling their areas'. This does not make me feel any safer, in fact it makes me far more concerned.
I just hope nothing kicks off tonight.

Date: 2011-08-10 05:59 pm (UTC)By the way an Asian News Channel called Sangat TV on Sky 847 is covering most of the riots live. They are currently with the Father of the killed men from last night as he talks with the PM. They are online too I believe. Much better then the BBC or Sky!
