This got me thinking about enemies, and how I really don't have the time or the energy for them. That's not to say I've never felt that ppl are my enemies, mainly during the horror that is school. Hated the girls I went to school with, but it did teach me some important life lessons, most of which I have ignored :-) Trust is something I give too freely, and have been bitten on the ass sooo many times about it. No one is worth that many of your tears, and crying in public is not good.
However, I did learn to control my phemominal temper (I have red hair and am of Irish descent, you do the math!), I haven't properly lost my temper since I was about 17, which is nearly 10 yrs! How impressed am I! My temper is very violent, all-incompassing and intense. A red mist decends and that's me gone for the next 20 mins at least. I do have tantrums (the last being Nat and Rachel's wedding when that damn dress didn't go on), but I'm learning to control them.
I am very lucky to be with a guy who knows exactly how to handle me tho, he walked in to my room - I'm mid temper tantrum - and said "I'm not gonna deal with you like this" and walked out. Fantastic, meant I could get on with it myself! My temper is probably my worst feature, as it's totally uncontrolled when it goes.
However as far as enemies go, there is no one that I regard as such, that's not to say that there aren't people who have that feeling about me. Hell, not everyone can like me all the time! But to have an enemy takes too much bloody effort. The last one I had was my ex-friend Jo from Uni who announce to the campus, during my finals that she had been screwing my then boyf for 2 yrs (yes, I did have an idea, but I was in a real bad place). I used to walk past her door in the house we shared and call her for everything! No one else has ever come that close (no missscarlet21 - not even you! :-p)
Funny how these memes get you thinking. Anyway, if I was a superhero, my enemy would be CYCLISTS! And stupid people, and hypocrites, and prejudiced ppl. That'll do!
