1. When John F. Kennedy was shot (11/22/1963) - not even a glint in anyone's eye!
2. When Mt. St. Helens blew (5/18/1980) - At nursery, not caring about volcanos
3. When the space shuttle Challenger exploded (1/28/1986) - at my Nan's, I remember watching it on the news
4. When the 7.1 earthquake hit San Francisco (10/7/1989) - at secondary school, I think we organised an appeal or summat!
5. When the Berlin Wall fell (11/7/1989) - at secondary, think I saw it on the news, and felt "at last" - see a drama queen then too!
6. When the Gulf War began (1/16/1991) - at school, and didn't think it was gonna happen. Felt kinda detached from it really
7. When the first World Trade Center bombing happened (02/26/1993) - don't know, doing something more important?
8. When OJ Simpson was chased in his White Bronco (6/17/1994) - on hols, so probably out, or at work
9. When the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was bombed (4/19/1995) - remember it happening, but not where I was
10. When Princess Di was killed (8/31/1997) - in bed, I turned the radio on, and heard the national anthum, thought it was the Queen who'd died (or at least the Queen Mother), but no, just some dizzy tart in a car!
11. When Bush was first announced President (11/7/2000) - shouting at the telly, really do detest that man
12. When the 6.8 earthquake hit Nisqually, WA (2/28/2001) - don't know, obviously not a big ratings winner
13. When terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center (9/11/2001) - at work, a customer told me as it was happening, then more ppl were getting the same info, we all came of the phones and watched it unfold on the tv in the canteen until we were sent home at about 3ish
14. When Columbia disintegrated during re-entry over Texas. (2/1/2003) - prolly with joda-boi, don't remember it much!
