We've had the Christians round, gah, it's too early on a Sat for theological discussions! Managed not to giggle at them too much, or say anything too controversial, so that was good!

I'm supposed to be cleaning the bathroom, and getting ready to pop into town, but I've lost the will to continue, damn internet!

Waxed my legs last night with the Veet strip thingys, wasn't too bad, followed all the instructions and remembered what the lovely candi_topping told me. Was most painful around the ankles, and the annoying thing is that I'm going to have to do them again! grrr! Still at least it's on offer in Boots!

i personally think babe its cheaper and easier in the long run to go to a salon and get someone else to do it for you! :o)

(oh the ankles will hurt more cos of the thin-ness of the skin and you have more nerves round that area)

i think your brave well done :o) *big hugs* (buy some aloe vera gel that will help soothe your skin!)

remember to keep your legs out of the sun for at least 24 hours after waxing it can cause irritation. i'll shut up now before i go into beauty therapist mode! ;op LOL xxxx k.

Gah! I tried them and thought they were so crap! Left bits completely unwaxed, and I had to go over several times in the same place, so my legs (well, the parts I tested it on) were completely red by the end! I was probably just doing it wrong- what were your special tips?

I'm thinking of going somewhere to have it done, just before we go away- know anywhere decent? Coz I really don't wanna have to bother with shaving legs and all that nonsense :)
