What a weekend!
Jun. 21st, 2005 07:10 pmHad a fab weekend, Sat I have already blogged, but Sun and Mon were just as amazing!
Sun - met up with lovely Liz in town, and we both melted in the Squeg. Chatted tons, giggled and remanised!
Mon - spent the day with the lovely Mumsie, we went to Lakeland in Solihull and got me my cd player. But I did lose my funky sunglasses :-( so have had to get new ones from H&M (2 pounds 45, I thank you).
Then on to Hatton Craft Centre to see my lovely Kate, went mad on yankee tarts (I'm blaming the forum totally), and got a new work bag, and witchy weathervane from Katie-kins for the 'New House'. Plus Mumsie bought me shoes! I was so spoiled!
Got a lovely necklace from Aunty Jean too!
But one of the best bits was that so-and-so paying me for my Pagan books at the Midsummer festival! Huzzah!
I promptly spent half of it on books (Glennie Kindred and Ladies of the Lake), and also got the perfect birthday card for
ebee.
The Midsummer ritual was ok. The Daughters of Gaia let a very shambolic ritual, which needed more direction, and less drumming, screaming and fluff! Got to have a lovely chat with Tanya tho. And fun as it was (and it was fun), I felt something was missing, and when I was listening to the Daughters of Gaia, I realised what it was, I would have loved to have been there with
ebee,
silvernik and
thuriaz_art.
But I got to meet
baloobass finally, which was lovely! And had the worrying thing of 'Oh, YOUR
angelkitty101' Am I that famous?
Oooh and BIG Thanks and Hugs to all those sent Happy Biffday messages. It was very much appreciated!
