Bah, Humbug!
Jun. 11th, 2005 01:01 pmWell, we now have hot water, and I had the most wonderful baths ever yesterday. Used my Aura Suavis BBS (why did they ever discon this) and really relaxed!
But today, the U-bend has come away from the sink. So I'm currently waiting for the Letting Agents plumber! Sod the landlord, this needs done NOW!
Landlord is being a bit of an arse, asking for a mid-term inspection, but methinks he may have a shock! All we have to do is tidy this place! And his plumber is responsible for the state of the bathroom.
I soooooo want my own house tho.
So
tomyris I may well not be able to see you today (Grrrr) as I am waiting for another plumber!
I hate new builds (unless I've done them myself)

I'd also like to have my own house where we don't have to ask permission if we want to put something on the wall (and have to wait for weeks while the landlord decides whether to let us), where we can call out someone to repair things when they go wrong (instead of having to go via the letting agents and waiting while they contact the landlord) and most of all, where we can decorate how we like and have cats.
