Describe your ideal date.
Hummm, tricky one. I don't tend to do dates, I've no idea why, just one of those things. I suppose it would have to feature lots of talking, and giggling, and probably very good food (with excellent puddings). Really it would be a getting to know you thing, that's the best bit of the whole experience.
Do you believe in karma / fate?
Yep, she takes her time, but Karma gets there in the end, and she's a total bitch :-) Karma works well enough for me. Fate is not the same thing, and is a bit more 'wishy-washy'. You can't blame everything on fate (and I've seen ppl who do)
What are your political leanings?
Lib Dem. I don't feel that the other parties are a viable prospect. Blair's behaviour over Iraq and education will probably mean the end of him this time (I really hope so). The Tories are becoming reactionary right wing bigots jumping on any emotive issue, and appealing to white van man! The Lib Dems are going to scrap ID cards, tuition fees, the cash payout for children, and actually be sensible (reduce primary class sizes and put more police around!). I really do feel that the Lib Dems are the only ones with their feet on the ground!
What are your favourite three bands?
Placebo, APB and The Cruxshadows. I like my lush melodies, bouncy, bleepy and soaring vocals. Plus Brian Molko is very, very cute! I'm so shallow!
Do you cook, and if so what's your best dish?
I do cook, and I do a pretty good roast, and my steak is fabulous (don't come to eat if you're veggie - I'm out of ideas there!)

Date: 2005-04-12 12:28 pm (UTC)Oooh, dunno, would have been nice to meet Douglas Adams, am a big fan! Ooh, and Johnny Depp, obviously, because he's not really in love with model bird, he's just waiting until I come along! ;o)
What do you look for in a man?
Sense of humour, first and foremost. If a man can make me laugh, that's most of me interested really- god that sounds cheesy! Is true though, you have to be able to laugh with someone in a relationship, if it's not fun, what's the point?
Do you want children, if so how many, and do you have names?
Oh hell no. Can you really imagine me with children of my own?! *shudder*
Can barely look after myself half the time! ;o)
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A princess! No, seriously, when I was very young, it looked like a very cool thing to be!
Where do you see yourself living in 6 yrs time?
Again, no idea, don't think I'll still be in Brum, would like to travel around a bit before picking somewhere to live permanently- am a long way off mortgages etc so far!

Re: *puts on thinking cap*
Date: 2005-04-13 10:27 am (UTC)I always said No. I mean, when i married Mike i believed it was for life but how can you know how you are going to feel in 12 years time? I certainly didnt. However, i always said i wouldnt live with anyone again and here i am! I could maybe see myself getting married again mainly from the point of view that Dan, or whoever, wouldnt have any rights to my property etc when i die. Or even when im alive if they were asked whether to turn off the switch if i was seriously ill.
What is your dream holiday?
Hmm. I dont really know. Something quiet. I would love to go to Canada and see bears and wolves. Yeah. I think that would be it!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Dont laugh. Firstly i wanted to be a Maths professor at Cambridge Uni. Then i decided i wanted to be a pathologist - until i did a weeks work experience in a Path Lab and, when told that i could watch a post mortem but that i had to be aware that they use a huuuge electric saw, i decided that maybe that job wasnt for me! Then i decided i wanted to be an accountant for Ferrari (but only so i could get close to Gerhard Berger) - fortunately the accountancy thing passed cos after doing accountancy in my Banking exams i know i would have hated it with a passion!
Ever want to have another doggie?
Oh god, every day!!! I keep telling Dan he needs to becaome a millionaire and work from home so we can have one, or three! Fortunatley i have the lovely Spot who keeps me happy in the dog stakes whilst i cant have one of my own.
Dream home?
I dont think i have one. To be honest i dont really care where i am as long as im happy. I always think its the people that make the home not the place. I would love to be able to afford something nicer than where i am but at the same time i would hate to live in a posh place. I wouldnt like a new house - much prefer old ones with character. And i would love a bay window and id like a small circular window somewhere in the house - and an attic room.....

Re: gowan then
Date: 2005-04-14 06:15 am (UTC)Yup - Abraham (Babe-raham!)if it's a boy. Still arguing about girls' names.
2. Any bizarre cravings yet?
Nah, just sudden starvation fits.
3. Shoes or corsets?
NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
On the grounds that I have more of them, and I can't wear corsets 24/7, shoes.
4. What would be your dream job?
Chief Science Officer on the Starship Enterprise. I always wanted to be a boffin - the ears are so cool and I could wear kick-ass boots...
5. And dream house?
Straw-build eco-house! windmills, solar panels, passive underfloor heating, broadband throughout, courtyard... Ideally somewhere warm - I'm fed up with the cold and rain. Our mate Paul is an architect and has offered to do the plans as a gift, woo-hoo!
