What a difference a day makes......
Jan. 23rd, 2005 04:09 pm24 little hours!
Well, this weekend has been one of several revelations. Friday I was 'Inna mood', and was feeling most disagreeable. Went into town to see 'House of Flying Daggers'. Not as good as 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Wombat', or 'Hero'. And Jo is beginning to get Zang Zhi overload. I'll be interested in seeing 'Geisha' later in the year to see if she can do something other than kung fu! The dancing was excellent tho.
Sat - was a quiet day, I just pottered around and sorted things out. Had a lovely 'Hollywood' bath, and really relaxed. Jo went out to sort out the kitchen drawer, and stuff. And then dropped a bombshell, we are going to America in August. Which means that I won't be able to Canters in May (sorry ebee!). Am rather excited about it, as I've never been further than Bordeaux, and now I'm going to San Francisco, Nevarda, Arizonia, and LA. Eeep!
Sat night was spent in the Gallows with one of Jo's mates for his b'day. Much fun, singing along to Man O'War, Poison, Skid Row and Motley Crue. And deciding to have a cheesy metal night etc. And the realisation that if Jo and I ever do get married, then we will have to have an Iron Maiden section in the reception, complete with air base.
Long Live Metal!!!!
See y'all soon kittens!
