1. Birth - highly exciting being as I was 2 weeks late already, and had to be induced. Kinda miracle baby as Mother had been told that she couldn't have kids. Was born a year and a day after my parents marriage, so already started on pagan time! As well as Mum and Dad, there was the doctor, Mother's gynacologist, nurse, midwife and the man from the blood bank with a crate of blood, nothing like instilling confidence into a young mother to be, and the doctor was chatting up the nurse over the top of Mumsie. I emerged kicking, screaming, crying, and got worse everytime I saw my Dad - state of things to come?
2. 04/01/80 - 2 1/2 yrs old - birth of my brother, no longer an only child, must now share. Yeah, right! All the early photos of Jon and I show me either dropping him, or he's crying. I have caused many injuries to my brother over the years, but he's still alive, so he's tough!
3. 5 yrs old - eye operation, was wearing full strength bi-focals before this. Also had one of my eyes patched over, which is the reason I have my best mate.
4. Summer 1988 - 11 yrs - leaving primary school. Very happy to do so, was teased almost constantly, and I rose to it and tended to cry. Partly my own fault, partly that of the kids.
5. Sept 1988 - 11 yrs - arrived at Kings High School for Girls, Warwick, like all independant schools a total exam factory, but gave me the qualifications I needed. Hated it totally, teased a lot, totally unpopular, it being a girls school ment there was a lot of backstbbing and bitchyness. And I didn't have a boyfriend, or listen to the right music, or have enough money, or the right clothes......
6. 91-92 - 14 yrs - rather than move, Mum and Dad decided to knock the old house down and build a new one. Most couples go to Relate :-). We went from a house that was worth under £100,000 to one that was worth a quarter of a million. The build was tough, but worth it. would I do it again - abso-fucking-lutely
7. 02/08/94 - 17 yrs - started going out with Michael 9the evil ex), and would do so for 4 yrs. Very bad relationship, but at least I got it all out of the way in the first one. He was 17 yrs older than me, married, 2 kids, hated by all my family, friends, ppl in general. It all ended in my final yr at Uni when I found out that he had not only been buggering my supposed best mate for 2 yrs, but that he had also sexually assaulted another friend and told someone else that their parents were going to die when he read their cards. He was a very abusive, controlling man, and I have not seen or spoken to him in 6 yrs.
8. Sept 95 - 18 yrs - started at UKC, had some of the most wonderful times there. I love Canterbury, and the uni, and I made some amazing friends there. Canterbury is one of the most fantastic cities in Britain and I must go back soon!
9. Sept 96 - 19 yrs - became a witchy-poo, started the Pagan Society at uni (still running to this day), and really got in touch with my spirital side.
10. Dec 96 - 19 yrs - parents split up, Mum moved in with her other half, house sold. Better for all concerned.
11. Feb 01 - 23 yrs - move out finally to live with Sue in Handsworth, where later I will be burgled and have my cd collection snubbed! Bastards stole the stero tho!
12. May 02 - 24 yrs - move to Bournville, suffer French housmate from hell, and make some wonderful new friends!
13. Sept 02 - 25 yrs - dumped by G, very bad time, very reminiscent of the break-up with Mick. Head in a very bad place. Start of sweetcorn diet
14. 07/02/03 - 25 yrs - Jody and I decide to go from 'friends' to boyfriend/girlfriend. Probably the best and easiest descision I've ever had to make.
15. 27 yrs - now. Loads happened in between, all of it seems to trivial to put down here. Now I'm starting a new adventure -living together. And I'm really looking forward to it, maybe I'm settling down?
