Shoes and shoes
May. 5th, 2004 01:46 pmAm having a bit of a shoe day today, mainly cos I'm considering my footwear. Well anything to keep my mind off the fact that I am going to the dentists today! As I said in an earlier post, I am thinking of selling 2 of my pairs of shoes. Both are hardly worn (in the case of 1 pair they have only been worn once and never outside), and in damn good nick.
Yes people, I am considering selling my transmuters and my metal fetish sandles. The transmuters allege to be a size 7, but would be better on a size 5-6 (not a 6 like me!), they are black pvc, very glossy and have purple glittery panels. I've worn them about 4 times.
The metal sandles are a work of art! They look like ice-skates and make me about 6 foot (I'm 5'6" in reality), they are black, very heavy and would fit a size 6 of below (they say they're a size 8, they lie!). They are very high, and have very little support for the foot, basically your weight rests on the ball of the foot and slightly on the heel.
I'm thinking £150 for the transmuters (basically you get the panels free) and £50 for the sandles (well they were a gift, from someone who knows nothing about footwear).
Any offers? :-)
Apart from the ned to further my shoe and corset collection, these items of footwear really aren't 'me' any more. I'm moving into 20's-30's chic, geisha style and random Jules-ness, and I don't want to keep things that are just cluttering up my life (gosh, how feng shui).
Btw, anyone know where I can buy a kimono?
