Yes people, it's Paddys weekend. A whole weekend of pissed idiots who've 'rediscovered' their Irish heritage and decide that in order to show full appreciation, they will get as drunk as a skunk, be loud, lairy and vomit green beer. Also they will wear the mandatory 2 foot high hat made to resemble a pint of Guiness.

Most of the roads will be closed, I think public transport is the only thing getting in or out of Brum this weekend. And if you have to come through Digbeth, just stay at home!

However, it would be nice to do something girlie (window shopping for shoes!). So ladies what time is everything happening? Will think about it, but am quite keen on going (as long as we stay away from Digbeth!!!!!).

Other than that, nothing much to report!

Beyond the Pale is on on Sunday at the Foundry in Dudley - be there or be a rubber chicken!!!! (Don't be put off by Dudley, the djs are great, the beer is good, the music is excellent and the company is spiffing!)
