Fun in the Sun
May. 30th, 2004 11:26 amJust a quick update, cos I feel the need to do something, but am frustrated by the lack of anything happening until later tonight!
Am feeling better since Friday! Had salad last night (see how seriously I'm taking this!). Went to Pride yesterday, think I may have caught the sun, and definately didn't need the coat!
Met the dark_goth and vix_da_vixen, kinda surprised them with a valkyrie_n_1 and a Squeak, who kept yelling 'We have to get to Pride'. Added to this was the fact that he had announced that it was Pride to his schoolfriend's mother, and it probably means that valkyrie_n_1 and I are now 'women who wear comfortable shoes'. Great!!!!!!
Had a really good time at Pride, saw Loo (before he'd taken anything), went on the waltzers, (I've never spun soooo much in my life!) and Squeak got to go on the teacups and dodgems. Plus as valkyrie is no longer smoking (2 weeks gone now!) she was able to do all the things that she previously couldn't. So Squeak ended up with a 4-foot inflateable glow in the dark stegastour skeleton! Fully inflated. Try carrying that around Pride
Stayed until the Parade had gone past. The Pagan Pride float had a most interesting Green Man, with a HUGE appendage, and coconut testes! Fabulous darling! Saw Loo again, when he had 10 mins until his pills kicked in. Ate strawberries and cream, and completely failed to meet ninnevaine!
All in all a busy day, got home absolutely exhaused, and vegged for the rest of the evening.
Now I just wanna go out and do something, but I don't know what, and I miss Jody, a lot! Really weird cos it's only a weekend, but I really do miss him!
