Why am I still awake? - workie update
Apr. 9th, 2004 12:02 amAm tired, but wanna get this down before I go to sleep! Had my quarterly appraisal yesterday. Was really pleased, especially as I feel that I haven't had enough to do recently. Well that's been happily remedied! Why is it that ppl think they can sneak innaccurate reports through on the eve of a Bank Holiday. Ended up working an extra 30 mins cos I was investigating this!!!!
However, back to the appraisal. My lovely boss feels that I am a Grade 4 at present (means pay-rise kids, only southernsoftee will have any idea what I'm on about here!), and with his help should progress to a Grade 5 in the nxt 3-6 months. This is the highest grade with a 10% pay-rise (I think)
Then he dropped the bombshell. He may be getting moved on to something else within the business, and he wants me to manage 'Special Projects' when he moves on! Me, a manager! I've got to say, I really do like the idea, and as such am feeling a lot more positive about work!
Felt like secretary today as had to do a ton of typing tho!
I'm quite impressed that he thought I was capable enough for this, and I feel like I could have a really good time with it, so result. Yay me!
Now I need a work wardrobe, with smart clothes and shoes (work stillies), to match executive me! Look out world, here I come!
Oh btw, I have a new filter that I tested on Wed. Juxti-boi, did you pick up the entry after Bimble, if not then my kink filter works, and you will be left in blissful ignorance!
