Most Exciting Day EVER!!!!!!
Feb. 17th, 2004 01:28 pmOk so that's probably an over-statement, but it definately comes close!
Been working really hard and stuff all morning, as well as sending off e-mails to various companies for this go-karting thing. My boss (Andy) is trying to organise a charity go-karting event, and we gave it to the enviroment girls to deal with as they have more time for this than we do! And what did they do with it, Nowt, nothing, nada!
So finally, they asked me to do something, and I spent Friday e-mailing various F1 drivers and teams, as well as other motorsport. Didn't hold out much hope, as I've never done this before, but today I got an e-mail back from none other than CARL FOGARTY, (well his manager), but it's sooooooo exciting! And he might be able to come, I'm sooooooo bouncy and hyper right now. Have just had a lovely gloat over the 2 girls who were supposed to be doing it, but I feel like doing cartwheels!
And now here comes the dilemma, the go-kart event is 27th March, the same day as Rachel's hen weekend in Notts, which I am not missing for the world! Wonder if there is anyway of squeezing the 2 in at all. I really want to go to Nightmare, and see missscarlet21 again, and have a damn good boogie, BUT I could see King Carl at an event that I had got him too. Will it happen again? Who knows! Think I'll try and do the early bit and then go on to Notts, it depends if ppl want to shop (so that means being in Notts before lunch!!)
