Wales ComicCon - the cream of signing cons!

Mon, 04 Dec 2017 21:08:23 GMT

This weekend was WCC, I've written about it and how much I love it many times (look for the tags, or WCC in the headers), this may well have been one of the best ever for me. There wasn't a huge guest that I wanted to meet, I didn't have a mass of photo shoots, and I got to hang out with some of my favourite humans. I haven't laughed so much for ages, nor have I had that much fun. It was a practically perfect weekend in every way (except for the lack of transporter to get Jen there)

Day 2 - A song you like with a number in the title

Sat, 20 May 2017 20:34:37 GMT

There are quite a few here, but the one that has grabbed me an won't let go is 7 by Prince. It's a gloriously lush song and I just adore it. The tumble of notes and Prince's fabulous voice means that it transports me to fabulous places. I love it, and it is terribly underrated.

Music Meme

I love wittering about music, and this meme spotted on sfred 's DW looks fabulous

So today is Day 1 - A song you like with a colour in the title

Deeper Shade of Blue by Steps. Catchy song and a brilliant video! Lots of latex and leather and coloured contacts and fun! I added it to the Cowon a while back and it still makes me happy when it comes up in rotation

Miracle Day 4 - The Finale!

Tue, 18 Apr 2017 22:22:15 GMT

The last weekend of cons was the biggie - Miracle Day. Torchwood cons are notoriously riotous, and Miracle Day doubly so. Being the final one, it was always going to be an incredible (and exhausting) weekend, and it ended on a real high!

( Shenanigans within )And so that's it for Torchwood cons for the time being. We just have to see what Sean Harry comes up with going forwards!

Wales Comic Con - The weekend of ALL THE SUN!

Tue, 11 Apr 2017 21:14:25 GMT

This weekend it was the second of the three cons in a row - Wales Comic Con, quite possibly one of my favourite cons in the UK. Typically I ended up leaving the house late and not having as much time as I wanted to do things in town - but I caught my train to Wrexham without any issues and got to the Premier Inn shortly after Spark arrived.( All the excitement below )

The whole LJ debacle

Mon, 10 Apr 2017 17:30:16 GMT

As with many others, I'm moving to DW. I'm NOT going to delete my lj - for one thing DW won't send me a message when Tal's birthday is coming up, and I don't want to, BUT I am going to be writing over here and having it crossposted to my DW.

It's the same user name, and I just need to do a bit of moving of my lj over here, and my fic lj, and then I need to save ALL THE FIC THAT I ADORE ON LJ!

Fekking Russia!

Well hello there!

Thu, 29 Dec 2011 14:08:49 GMT

Yes well, I've set up a Dreamwidth account, just in case lj falls over! I don't know how much I will use it tbh, but there we go, I have one!
